After Registering

Question: What does Player Registration with Kincardine Minor Soccer Club do?

  • Player Registration allows KMS to know you have a player that would like to play in the season you have registered for and collect the Club Player Registration Fee.

Question: Does the Club Player Registration mean I'm all set?

Not quite, once we get through the steps below KMS has to registrar all players & teams/rosters with our District and Ontario Soccer before practices and games can commence.

Things that happen after you checkout and complete your Player Registration(s):

  1. You will receive a confirmation of your registration and you can see it listed in Member Center
  2. Registration period stays open until it closes about a month or so before the start of the season (after long weekend in May).
  3. KMS will review all the player registrations and assign players into the age groups that align to our programming (for example, which birth years go to which Under xx age group)
  4. KMS then determines how many teams per age group based on how many players have registered
  5. KMS will recruit volunteers to be on-field team staff for each team
  6. KMS will schedule and evaluation tryout dates for Lake Shore League Tier team evaluations U13-U18
  7. KMS will begin creating draft team rosters for each of the house league teams based on the information collected from everyone's registrations (skills, player experiences, player availability, etc.)
  8. Evaluations for Lake Shore League Tier 1 teams U13-U18 will be conducted and players chosen for those teams
  9. KMS will finalize Lake Shore League & House League team rosters
  10. All players will then be rostered to a team in the system
  11. KMS will communicate to each team staff of their team
  12. Team staff season kickoff/coaches meeting will take place, where they will receive further information and is the first chance to pick practice times for their teams
  13. Parents & guardians will be notified of which team their player is on
  14. Team staffs will reach out to the parents & guardians with season information (practice days/times/location, etc.)
  15. Parents & Guardians will be able to view their team in the mobile app
  16. KMS will create House League schedules in the system and then they appear in Member Center and the mobile App
  17. KMS will load Lake Shore League teams schedules into the system for those teams and then they will appear in Member Center and in the mobile App
  18. All players and team rosters submitted for approval to EMSA and OSA
  19. Practices & Games will begin!
