  6. It varies depending on the age group and the soccer league your team is playing in.

  8. Ok, I registered my player(s), when will I know the team and coach?
  9. When Open Registration ends, usually end of March / early April, the KMS Executive Board to work through:
  10. How many teams per age group based on player registration numbers
  11. Identify at least 1 person to be team staff (coach) so that we know a team is viable
  12. Divide up the players and roster them in the system
  13. What age groups travel outside Kincardine?
  14. Recreational Teams: U11, U13, U15, U18, Adult
  15. Competitive Teams: U10, U13, U14
  16. What do you mean by Soccer Leagues?
  17. Teams are created and depending on their age group, those teams get entered into different soccer leagues to play their games
  18. U4, U5, U6 aka "Timbits" play in the in-town Kincardine House League (Bruce Avenue for all games)
  19. U8 & U10 play in the in-town Kincardine House League (Bruce Avenue for all games)
  20. U11 plays in the Saugeen Valley League (local travel in Bruce & Grey counties for Away games)
  21. U13, U15, U18, Adult plays in the Lake Shore League (local travel in Bruce & Grey counties for Away games)
  22. Competitive teams play in the Southwest District Soccer League (extended travel for Away games)
  23. When are practices?
  24. For U4, U5, U6 they are the same night as games and take place the first half of the allotted hour
  25. For ALL other age group teams, the coach will determine the practice day and time based on field availability (to not conflict with games slots across the club's teams)

  28. Why do coaches need qualifications?
  29. AS KMS is part of Canada Soccer / Ontario Soccer / Elgin Middlesex Soccer Association we are licensed and insured based on a minimum set of criteria required for team staff of minors.
