The purpose of the Canada Soccer Code of Conduct and Ethics (hereinafter referred to as the Code) is to ensure a safe and positive environment (within Canada Soccer’s programs, activities, and events) by making individuals aware that there is an expectation, at all times, of appropriate behaviour consistent with Canada Soccer’s core values. Canada Soccer supports equal opportunity, prohibits discriminatory practices, and is committed to providing an environment in which all individuals are treated with respect.
Codes of Conduct are an essential part of sport rage prevention. They outline the agreed standard of behaviour for a club's coaches, referees, parents and players. This code has been developed in consultation with other leading clubs in Ontario to benchmark best practices in sport. There are 3 important considerations:
All incidents or allegations regarding violations of the KDMSC Code of Conduct will be treated with the confidentiality and privacy. All cases and/or reports of violations will be reviewed by the KDMSC Executive to determine merit, severity and recommended course of action. Disciplinary action may include any of the following:
The Executive reserves the right to suggest and enforce alternative forms of discipline as required.
